We all need hope. Many people would add, “Now, more than ever.” That is exactly what the Bible offers us. A foundational, unshakeable hope that can carry us through every season of our lives.

Hi, I’m Erica Faraone and I’m so glad you’ve come by my web site. I want this to be a place where you can always find something to encourage you and challenge you. I want to remind you that you’re not alone in life’s struggles and that God is with you and God is for you.

IMG_4819A Different Family Story

I live in Kalispell, MT, a beautiful, but cold place. I rave about how light and gorgeous it is all summer and may perhaps complain about how cold and dark it is all winter! Welcome to the North Northwest. But we have amazing coffee, so it all works out.

I am very happily married to a great guy named Scott and we have three terrific kids, all grown. Our family story is different than most. Scott and I adopted our three kids when their dad and our friend, Bryan, passed away. (Bryn, Samantha and Kellyn were 13, 11 and 9 at the time.) Their biological mom was long gone and the five of us had this amazing blessing and challenge of becoming a family. We are bonded and still bonding, working to keep close ties, as all families must do. All three kids are independent adventurers and have already traveled quite a bit and are even now spread all over the country. We pray and trust, knowing the Lord is always with them, holding them close.

What I Love Most

As much as I love my family, I love the Lord most. If it wasn’t for Him, I would have given up long ago. His tender love and patience is what has brought me through to where I am today. I have found hope, healing and freedom from fear through my relationship with Jesus.

And that’s what I love to talk about – a daily walk with Christ where we learn to live out the Word of God. Practical application. Real life application. When we grasp the true Life that God has for us, we will live such fulfilled and joyful lives. When we live by God’s principles, we choose to live Blessed!

Ministry

Ministry has been at the center of my life from the start. I was saved in Sunday school at 3 (thank you faithful, Sunday school teachers!) and called to the ministry at 5. I started singing at 10 and speaking at 15. I started my first book at age nine. It was about two kids visiting their grandparent’s farm. In a very dramatic turn of events, the barn burned down in chapter three. Unfortunately, I couldn’t think of anything more exciting than that and I abandoned the manuscript!

I have been blessed with many ministry opportunities, from traveling in a full-time, national evangelistic ministry for three years to leading worship for ladies retreats as well as speaking and singing at various events. I was on staff as the worship leader at Whitefish Assembly of God for five years and then served as the worship leader for Journey Church for four years. I also wrote and taught classes at both churches. I am currently serve in Kids Ministgry at Canvas Church in Kalispell, MT. I love this amazing team of people and all God is doing!
